Dear Pipollina. I start this post by telling our dear readers that your previous name (or, to be exact, pseudonym) used to be Mrs Robinson. Just to clear things up.
And now to the important part: Thank you, dear Pipollina, for taking on the challenge and travelling to the other side of the globe to start a new chapter in the lives we intend to share. Now my new home has literally become a home, after you arrived and made it a living space for us. It now no longer feels like the place where I come to go to sleep when I’m not at work, but a place where I find someone who is meaningful for my life.
Pipollina, who blogs at http://www.pipollina.wordpress.com, has arrived two weeks ago and made a huge contribution to the flat’s interior. There now actually is a colour concept in place (which Robinson is not allowed to break), with a combination of beige and red. Pipollina has painted pictures we will put on the walls, that reinforce this colour concept. In sum: The improvised flat has now become a home.
